The South Shore Bird Club (SSBC) was founded in 1946 and the first members set out to explore the birds and birding habitats of the South Shore of Massachusetts. We concentrate on field trips for both members and non members. Most trips involve car-pooling with occasional canoe trips or beach hikes. Non-members are always welcome.

*This trip generally covers areas of Halifax and Middleboro and starts in late afternoon/dusk until a few hours after dark. Eastern Screech Owls are around and we also hope to locate Great Horned and Barred Owls. We'll give Short-eared and Northern Saw-whet Owls a try too.

ReplyDeletejust wanted to know how to get a membership. am very much fascinated by and particular about birds. after giving many years to this passion while in India, i had a real nice experience of few months in Tennessee too. now that am in Boston, i would love to pursue this interest. very excited to know about this group and really impressed by the way you work. can i join you? :)
