Mass Audubon North River Sanctuary, Rt 3A, North Marshfield, MA
Presented by noted ornithologist and Naturalist, Brian Cassie
Brian will talk about strategies and techniques for calling owls and his results.
Brian has already found owls in 185 Massachusetts towns in 2012.
The number will be somewhere in the 200s by show time.
Brian has been a birdwatcher for forty years and is intensely interested in birds, shells, butterflies,
wildflowers, mammals, and biogeography. Brian has devoted a good part
of many recent years to studying/discovering various aspects of nature.
His "years" have included MA birds, Northeast mammals, MA animal sounds,
New England islands, MA butterflies, New England orchids, MA wildflowers,
New England trees, MA fungi, New England marine mollusks and shells,
and North American (especially MA) owls.
